IT’S ALREADY CURRENTLY FEBRUARY

…well, it is that time.

February

LISTENING:  I enjoy sports way too much.  IU is playing Wisconsin, and I am hoping for a small miracle.  Go Hoosiers!!

LOVING:  guys.  You need a heated mattress pad.  It is my current favorite material possession and it makes winter slightly more bearable.

THINKING:  Both my fifth and sixth graders took math tests at the end of last week.  Despite the extra day that was added to my weekend when we got twelve inches of snow on Sunday, they still have not been graded.  …so little motivation…

WANTING:  I rode on a four wheeler for the first time this weekend.  It was exciting and now I want one.

NEEDING: …I want nothing more than to visit Ron Clark Academy.  I have basically wanted to visit for ever, and then Kim Bearden had to go and write the most inspiring book ever, Crash Course, and then my best teacher friend went to RCA, and now I am just so jealous.  It will happen.  I will make it happen.  …it will.  #slidecertifiedplease

okay.  I am the most indecisive person ever.  I just overanalyze everything and make myself miserable whenever I have a decision to make.  It is ridiculous, but I can’t help it.

I always love linking up with Farley.  …but hopefully I will manage another blog post between now and March…

  1. Love Ron Clark. He spoke to my senior class when I graduated college (He is an alumni---so he came back---it was awesome). Twelve inches of snow...I'd cry.

  2. I'm right with you about being indecisive. I just can't ever seem to make up my mind. :)

I've heard some great things about the RCA too. He's such an inspiration!

    Ha :)

  3. I saw that a bunch of TpT teachers that I follow did a visit at RCA. Looks amazing!!! I'm afraid to read his books though for fear of wanting to return to the classroom when I can't for at least another 4 years. (long story) Ugh! Grading was one of the tasks I detested the most. Usually I'd stare at a pile for a couple of days, decide if it really was worth grading all of it, and if it was, finally just get down to it. Math tests fall into the category of must-grade. Oh well! Happy grading!

  4. Find a way to get to RCA! I went last May, and it was life changing.
